AgPreference Scholarship Program
The AgPreference Customer Scholarship Program was created to assist with higher education
expenses for graduating high school children or grandchildren of AgPreference, ACA,
customers. The association will award up to six $500 scholarships in the Oklahoma Counties of
Cotton, Greer, Harmon, Kiowa, Jackson and Tillman.
Qualifications:
Eligible applicants must: 1. Have a parent or grandparent who is a customer
of AgPreference, ACA, 2.
Be a
graduating senior of a high school in one of the six counties referenced
above,
3. Enroll in post-secondary education classes full-time (12 hours or equivalent) during the fall and spring
semesters,
and, 4. Agree to allow information about their award to be used in publicity materials, if selected.
Application process:
1. Applications are available at agpreference.com, the office at 3120 N. Main, Altus, or
the student’s high school principal’s office.
2. Deadline dates are set annually for complete applications and transcripts.
They must be submitted by 4:00 in the office on
the appropriate date. Call the office for more information.
3. Applications submitted electronically or by fax will not be accepted.
4. Applications will be reviewed and selected by the AgPreference Scholarship Committee and winners will
be announced by the stated date, (all selections are final).
5. Selections will be made based on scholarship, leadership, extra-curricular activities and the
essay.
6. Scholarship money will be sent directly to the recipients bursar account, $250 each for the fall
and spring semesters, provided the student is in good standing.
